APPLICATION SESSION CLOSED
We are pleased that you have interest in BESST Educator Certification Program.  If you hold a bachelors degree and have been hired as a teacher, and are not certified, you may be the ideal candidate for the BESST program. BESST cohort holds all the same requirements as our other certification program areas, however, there are some requirements unique to BESST.

Deadline for the 2008-2009 Program year: July 30, 2008.

Application requirements:

1. Completion of BESST District Referral Form by hiring principal or HR department.

2. The following documents must be provided by the applicant:

• $75 application processing fee
• Official or certified copies of transcripts from every university attended
• Three (3) Professional Reference Forms
• Proof of competency in Reading , Writing and Math (a list of these measures showing proof can be found in BESST Program Instructions to Districts and Applicants

3. Review of application information. For academic requirements please see the checklist for each certification.

Final acceptance into the Region XIII BESST program requires ECP Staff approval of teaching assignment and application.
