Application & Employment April-July 30, 2008: Application and Employment Period-Prospective intern must complete application during this period and have teaching position secured to be considered. Referral to program must be made by hiring principal or HR department. Please see Apply for more details and for forms. Pre-Service/Orientation Begins August 1, 2008: Pre-Service and Orientation begins for applicants accepted into the program. Participants will receive information outlining specific details of program as relates to specific certification area. Blended Training & Internship August 2008-June 2009: Interns participate in face-to-face trainings with supplemental online coursework, in addition to employment as teacher of record. Recommendation July 2009 Upon successful completion of program requirements, participant is recommended for standard teaching certificate through the State Board of Educator Certification.
