Pedagogy and Professionalism Curriculum The Educator Certification Program (ECP) offers an alternate certification route for preparing new teachers. In place of completing a traditional teacher education program, ECP candidates engage in a concise, rigorous preparation program. Our Pedagogy and Professional curriculum is geared towards producing high quality teachers. In addition to being aligned to the Interstate New Teacher Assessment and Support Consortium (INTASC) standards, ECP’s courses are designed to develop teachers for all grade levels and certification areas. The ECP at Education Service Center Region XIII is not only nationally recognized but has a proven track record of preparing teachers to pass the state competency exams and meet the diverse needs of today’s students. Over the last 5 years, 99% of ECP’s teacher certification candidates have passed the state administered competency test in pedagogy. Explore: |
