Region XIII
The Educator Certification Program (ECP) at Education Service Center Region XIII was selected as one of six alternative certification programs featured in the US Department of Education's Office Of Innovation and Improvement's fifth publication of Innovations in Education: Alternative Routes to Teacher Certification.
Over the past 5 years over 99% of ECP’s teacher certification candidates have passed the state administered competency test in pedagogy.

"Our experience with the online training from Region 13 has been rewarding for both the participants and for our program! We offered EC-4 Generalist and the 4-8 Generalist preparation and had a 92% passing rate for first time test takers for the 4 - 8 Generalist TExES and a 95% passing rate for first time test takers for the EC - 4 Generalist TExES.
