Apply for the Educator Certification Program- General Education Cohorts


We are pleased that you have made the decision to apply to the Educator Certification Program! Please read the following information thoroughly before applying.

The online application is comprised of 3 steps:

  1. Personal information
  2. Payment
  3. Online interview

To begin, you will need the following information. Do not begin the application if you do not have this information at this time:

  • A valid email address.
  • Social Security Number or Resident Alien number (this will serve as your application reference number)
  • Education history including institutions attended, dates, and grade point average
  • Employment history including supervisor's name and contact information and dates of employment.
  • Visa, Master Card, or check routing information for the $75 application fee.
  • District Code for the online interview. Please use 6389.

Steps to follow after completing the application:

  • Print and submit 3 Professional Recommendation Forms
  • Submit official transcripts for ALL colleges and universities attended to:

    Region XIII Education Service Center
    5701 Springdale Road
    Austin, Texas 78723

    Please note that official transcripts will not be returned.
