TTT Application Process (2010-2011)

APPLICATION SESSION is now CLOSED


We are pleased that you have made the decision to apply to the Transition to Teaching Grant Program. Below are the requirements for completing an application for Transition to Teaching Certificate Areas during the open application period.

Application Process

The application process is comprised of 5 parts:

  1. Complete the Online Application (and pay the $75.00 non-refundable fee)
  2. Complete an Online Interview (you will be notified via email by the Cert. Dept. Office)
  3. Have THREE (3) Professional References submit a Professional Recommendation form to the Certification Department office on your behalf.
  4. Submit Official College Transcripts from ALL colleges to the Certification Department.
  5. Submit Competency in Reading, Writing and Math from either a Masters Degree, GRE, ACT, SAT, or THEA scores.

        6.  You may be invited to participate in a Face to Face Interview at Region 13

        7.   If Selected, submit the Registration Fee (by due date)

  • A valid email address.
  • Social Security Number or Resident Alien number (this will serve as your application reference number).
  • Education history including institutions attended, dates, and grade point average.
  • Employment history including supervisor's name and contact information and dates of employment.
  • Visa, Master Card, or check routing information for $75 application fee.
